Promotool to Debut 'Office Forest Bathing Solution' at the 25th Welfare EXPO

Promotool Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kensuke Ogata), a scent technology company that scientifically analyzes and designs all kinds of fragrances, announced its participation in the '25th Welfare EXPO' to be held from Wednesday, June 17 to Friday, June 19, 2026.

At this exhibition, the company will unveil for the first time 'Forest Bath HINOKI', a newly developed natural essential oil blend that serves as the core of its 'Office Forest Bathing Solution'. 'Forest Bath HINOKI' is a new forest bathing aroma for offices, developed by combining the expertise of Professor Qing Li of Nippon Medical School, a global authority on forest medicine, and the blending techniques of Takeshi Watanabe, a leading Japanese perfumer.

Under the concept of 'Bringing the air of the forest to the office', Promotool proposes an office forest bathing solution utilizing the premium domestic commercial aroma diffuser 'Scent FOREST'. At the exhibition, visitors can experience a new forest bathing sensation designed specifically for prolonged use in workspaces.

Traditionally, scents have mainly been utilized in spaces welcoming visitors, such as hotels and corporate entrances. Promotool is taking on the challenge of expanding the application of scents to workspaces, creating a new market for 'office forest bathing' as environmental infrastructure supporting worker well-being.

In recent years, driven by growing interest in health and human capital management, improving the environment of the workspaces where employees spend long hours has gained attention as a crucial management issue. Focusing on the relaxing and stress-reducing effects of forest bathing, Promotool has been conducting joint research with Professor Qing Li.

'Forest Bath HINOKI' stably delivers the atmosphere of indoor forest bathing over extended periods. The raw materials include Kiso Hinoki essential oil, collected from hinoki trees in the Akasawa Natural Recreational Forest, the birthplace of forest bathing in Japan. Through proprietary blending technology, GC/MS analysis confirmed that the sustainability of the emitted phytoncide components is more than double that of the essential oil alone.

The exhibition will take place at Tokyo Big Sight East Hall 3. At Promotool's booth, visitors can experience the latest solutions using 'Scent FOREST II', alongside existing lineups like 'immunoPLUS' and 'VB formula', as well as various aroma items on display.
