The One-Person IT Department Association (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Secretariat: Hiroshi Shimizu), with the sponsorship of Neos Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, President & Executive Officer: Masashi Ikeda), a group company of Tecmira Holdings, has created a 125-page booklet titled 'AI Shikujiri (Failures) for the One-Person IT Department'. It collects five failure cases of Generative AI (RAG) implementation actually experienced by lone IT personnel in medium and small-sized enterprises. This book is a learning material that provides practical knowledge edited based on real voices from the field. It will be distributed for free, limited to 200 copies, at the Neos booth at the Japan DX Week Spring event held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, April 8 to Friday, April 10, 2026.

Background of Publication About three years have passed since the emergence of Generative AI such as ChatGPT. The use of Generative AI is rapidly expanding not only in large enterprises but also in medium and small-sized enterprises. According to a survey conducted by the One-Person IT Department Association (target: SMEs with 500 or fewer employees), 78.3% of companies consider the use of AI essential, but it has become clear that many personnel face unpredictable challenges during actual implementation.
