The Future Creation Executive Committee for High School Students (within Progress Co., Ltd.) will hold the second session of the career event for high school students, "Jibun-ryoku School," on Sunday, April 26, 2026. In the first session, high school students from 27 schools across Okayama Prefecture, including Okayama City and Kurashiki City, gathered. It received high praise, with participants stating that "anxiety about career paths was resolved." This second session will specialize in four high-demand fields: [Architecture, Machinery, Electrical, Manufacturing]. It will be updated to a "dense half-day program" that combines deeper occupational understanding, self-analysis, and aptitude diagnosis, in collaboration with 8 local technology companies that support the region.

Achievements and Feedback from the First Session: "Passion for Career Paths" Gathered from Across Okayama Prefecture

"In just 3 hours, future anxiety turns into confidence"

The first session, held in November 2025, received more applications than its capacity, with 32 high school students and parents from 27 schools across Okayama Prefecture, including Okayama, Kurashiki, Soja, Setouchi, Yakage, and Wake, participating. The survey revealed a series of comments such as "I heard real stories from companies, which gave me an image of working," and "I started to see what I value." This confirmed a positive change in participants' attitudes towards their career paths.

Due to positive feedback from both companies and students, we decided to hold the second session.

Update Points for the Second Session: Why "Field-Limited"?

For the second session, instead of the common "broad and shallow knowledge" approach of previous career events, we decided to focus on creating "deeper understanding" by narrowing down to four fields: [Architecture, Machinery, Electrical, Manufacturing].
