Kawagoe Prince Hotel (Location: 1-22 Shintomi-cho, Kawagoe, Saitama; General Manager: Manabu Takeiri) will offer "Koedo Fuwa-Yuki Shaved Ice: Compare Your Favorite Flavors" at its restaurant "Washoku Musashino" (2F) from Thursday, July 2, 2026, to Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Due to popular demand for a smaller portion, a new half-size (¥800) has been added this year, complementing the regular size (¥1,600). The menu features three popular flavors: Honey & Lemon, 'Amarin' Strawberry, and Kawagoe Matcha. Saitama Prefecture is known for its extreme summer heat, and the hotel began offering this shaved ice in 2023 to provide a refreshing experience for guests. The ice is made from pure water sourced from the Okuchichibu mountain range, ensuring a light and fluffy texture.
