【Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel】Golden Week Limited Event! Nagasaki Prefecture's Mascot "Nya-ga" Visit Event to be Held

Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel (Location: 3-4 Shin-Yokohama, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama City; General Manager: Masato Takeda) will hold a two-day limited event featuring "Nya-ga," the mascot character of Nagasaki Prefecture, at Buffet Dining Koechel (2F) on May 5 (Tuesday/holiday) and May 6 (Wednesday/substitute holiday), 2026.

The restaurant is currently hosting the "Nagasaki Fair," where guests can enjoy a wide variety of Nagasaki's local cuisine and ingredients. This time, to coincide with Golden Week, we are holding an event inviting "Nya-ga," a popular mascot character from Nagasaki Prefecture. At the event, guests can interact with Nya-ga and take photos. Nya-ga's charming movements will add excitement to the Nagasaki Fair.

Furthermore, during Golden Week, we will offer our restaurant's proud deep-fried horse mackerel, available only during this period. Nagasaki Prefecture's horse mackerel, characterized by its firm flesh and good fat content, is prepared to be crispy on the outside and tender, juicy on the inside. Please enjoy it with Nagasaki's classic "Kincho Sauce."

- What is "Nya-ga"?
- Nya-ga is a character from the "Nagasaki no Hen" project, where Masaharu Fukuyama serves as creative producer. Nya-ga is a cat that loves Nagasaki very much.
- Nya-ga appears in various parts of the prefecture, calling for people to "cause a Nagasaki no Hen" (a revolution/change in Nagasaki), and assists everyone in promoting the charm of Nagasaki.
- A key feature is its face, which resembles the kanji character "変" (hen/change). In addition to Shiro (white), there are also Saba Tora (silver tabby), Tora (tiger tabby), Kuro (black), and Mike (calico) versions.
