Karuizawa Asama Golf Course (Location: Hottiminamikaruizawa, Kitasaku-gun, Nagano Prefecture; General Manager: Yuko Kageyama) will commence its season's operations on Saturday, April 4, 2026. For the 2026 season, we will introduce a "Hot Spring & Afternoon Tea Plan" that combines golf with hot springs and afternoon tea, proposing a new style of resort golf that allows guests to enjoy both play and stay.

In recent years, the demand for golf has shifted from a competitive focus to an experiential one, with an increasing number of couples and pairs enjoying "two-some golf" and prioritizing dining and relaxation after play. Responding to this trend, Karuizawa Asama Golf Course aims to enhance the resort stay experience in addition to its traditional play value. A highlight of the 2026 season is a new plan that allows guests to enjoy hot springs and afternoon tea after golf. By combining one round of golf with a relaxing soak in a hot spring overlooking Mount Asama and an afternoon tea featuring sweets and light meals at the hotel restaurant, we offer a new resort experience that integrates golf, hot springs, and dining.

This course is designed exclusively for two-some play, primarily for groups of two, characterized by smooth progress with minimal waiting times and a private round. The 18 holes spread across a plateau at an altitude of approximately 1,000m are designed to be enjoyable for both beginners and advanced players, with golf carts allowed on the fairways for a comfortable playing environment. Furthermore, it boasts excellent access from the Usui-Karuizawa Interchange on the Joshin-etsu Expressway, making it easy to visit from the Tokyo metropolitan area by car.

Karuizawa Asama Golf Course is located within Prince Grand Resort Karuizawa, which gathers hotels and leisure facilities, allowing guests to enjoy a "stay-type resort experience completed in one night and two days" that combines golf with accommodation, sightseeing, and shopping.

Going forward, we aim to attract new golf demographics, including women and younger generations, and strengthen our resort experience with an eye on inbound demand, proposing a new golf style in Karuizawa.
