Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide (Headquarters: 1-16-15 Minamiikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiki Kaneda, hereinafter referred to as Seibu Prince Hotels) will commence "Joint Delivery" starting April 1, 2026 (Wednesday), consolidating ingredients from a common warehouse to hotels operated in Nagano and Gunma prefectures. Furthermore, from October 2026, we will expand the joint delivery area to facilities operated in parts of Nagano Prefecture and Niigata Prefecture.
Seibu Prince Hotels sequentially launched "Joint Delivery" in its 8 hotels in Tokyo from October 2016, followed by the Hakone/Shonan area in October 2022, the Kyoto/Shiga area in April 2024, and within Osaka city from April 2025. Currently, joint delivery is implemented at 25 facilities nationwide, reducing annual CO2 emissions by 1,414 tons*. With this expansion into the Nagano, Gunma, and further into the Niigata areas, we aim to address social issues such as "CO2 emission reduction" and labor shortages, while simultaneously strengthening regional collaboration and contributing to the sustainable growth of the tourism industry.
*CO2 emissions are calculated based on the fuel method from the "Joint Guidelines for Calculating CO2 Emissions in the Logistics Field Ver. 3.1" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

About Seibu Prince Hotels' Joint Delivery
Our "Joint Delivery" system involves hotels receiving food supplies not directly from each supplier to each hotel. Instead, food is delivered from each supplier to a partner warehouse, where services such as temporary storage, sorting, and inspection are performed. Additionally, ingredients previously delivered to each hotel from Tokyo via courier services are now consolidated at the partner warehouse and then delivered to each hotel via the joint delivery service. "Joint Delivery" eliminates the need for individual deliveries from each supplier to each hotel, and for hotels to manage individual supplier communications, leading to improved operational efficiency for both parties. Furthermore, by reducing the number of delivery vehicles to hotels, we can minimize the need for truck drivers, thereby helping to resolve driver shortages associated with the "2024 Problem," reducing CO2 emissions, and alleviating traffic congestion in hotel vicinities.
