The Saitama Peace Museum (Saitama Prefectural Peace Memorial Museum) has been investigating, collecting, preserving, and exhibiting materials primarily related to war, as well as materials concerning people's lives from before and after the war, in order to convey the horrors of war and the preciousness of peace to future generations since its opening.
This special exhibition will introduce circular notices used in communities to convey government policies and related materials from the Sino-Japanese War period to the immediate post-Pacific War era, organized by themes such as increased production, savings, transportation, elections, counter-espionage, and air defense.
