Regarding the Collection of Public Comments on the "Saitama Prefecture 5-Year Plan Outline" etc.

Saitama Prefecture formulates a 5-year plan every five years, which serves as the foundation for prefectural administration. As the current 5-year plan concludes at the end of fiscal year 2026, we are proceeding with the formulation of a new 5-year plan starting in fiscal year 2027. A draft of this new plan, titled the "Saitama Prefecture 5-Year Plan Outline," has now been compiled.

Additionally, in conjunction with the indicators set forth in the "Saitama Prefecture 5-Year Plan Outline," related individual plans* that also set indicators will have their corresponding indicators modified to ensure consistency.

To gather opinions from a wide range of prefectural residents for the formulation of the new 5-year plan, we are soliciting comments through the "Saitama Prefecture Public Comment System" as detailed below.

* Saitama Prefecture Crime Prevention Town Development Promotion Plan, Saitama Prefecture Basic Plan for the Promotion of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Saitama Prefecture Basic Plan for Educational Promotion, and Saitama Prefecture Children and Youth Plan.
