Saitama Prefecture is promoting the 'SAITAMA River Supporters Project' (commonly known as River Support) to foster public affection for rivers among residents and visitors.
As part of this initiative, the 'River Support Quest 2026' program will launch on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, encouraging more people to visit river-related facilities and events.
River Support Quest is a digital stamp rally using the official River Support LINE account. Participants earn points by attending river events, visiting facilities, or answering quizzes.
As points accumulate, participants level up and can obtain a clear certification certificate themed around native species of Saitama and enter prize draws.
This year, in collaboration with the 'Waterfront Space Full Utilization Project' and 'Waterfront Venture Challenge,' the number of point-eligible facilities—such as riverside accommodation and campgrounds—has significantly increased from 14 to 33. Attractive prizes, including glamping accommodation discount vouchers, have also been added.
This summer, experience Saitama—the 'Land of Rivers'—as an explorer, participate in local events, and become a true river enthusiast.
