[Saitama Prefecture] Koi-tama is Running a Free Registration Campaign Exclusively for People in Their 20s!

Saitama Prefecture participates in the operating council of the public-private partnership marriage support center, "SAITAMA Encounter Support Center" (commonly known as "Koi-tama").

To commemorate the number of marriages through Koi-tama surpassing 700 couples (1,400 people), we are conducting a campaign offering free registration exclusively for people in their 20s.

Please register with Koi-tama, which has achieved a track record of over 100 couples (200 people) getting married for five consecutive years since FY2021.

1. Target Audience Single men and women aged 20-29 (at the time of registration) who wish to marry and have the intention to actively seek marriage. Those who live, work, or plan to move to Saitama Prefecture in the near future. Those who have a smartphone with a phone line and can operate it without difficulty.

2. Registration Period and Number of People (Planned) (1) Registration Period From Friday, April 24, 2026, to Sunday, January 31, 2027. * Activities will start on or after Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

(2) Number of Registrants 700 people

3. Registration Fee Free (Valid for 2 years) * Usually, the registration fee is 16,000 yen (tax included, valid for 2 years), and it is discounted to 11,000 yen (tax included, valid for 2 years) if your municipality of residence or your employing company/organization is a corporate member.

4. What is Koi-tama (SAITAMA Encounter Support Center)? Operated by a partnership of Saitama Prefecture, 61 municipalities, and 65 private companies, it serves as Saitama's public marriage support center providing meeting opportunities for single men and women sincerely wishing to marry.

As of the end of March 2026, the cumulative number of members is 25,744. In addition to a matching system utilizing AI, it also offers substantial matchmaking events for members. Strict identity verification ensures users can use the service with peace of mind.

Good points of using Koi-tama I was able to use it with peace of mind because it involves background checks and is a public marriage support service by Saitama Prefecture. Also, there were many notifications about matchmaking events, which I thought was great.

b. Good points of getting married Since we haven't officially registered the marriage or started living together yet, there are no major changes, but it's good that we are able to have more concrete discussions about marriage and our future.
