Toyama Prefecture's Q-reation / NAKASAI Project Wins 'Technology Innovation Award' at Peatix Community Awards 2026

The 'Toyama Prefecture Q-reation / NAKASAI Project,' planned and operated with the support of Potage Inc. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Azusa Kawahara), received the 'Technology Innovation Award' at the 'Peatix Community Awards 2026' held at SCC Sendagaya on Wednesday, May 27. The award recognized the project's community management approach, which connects Toyama Prefecture with the Tokyo metropolitan area and ensures that initiatives do not end as one-off events, but progress from pitches to actual commercialization.

In the previous 2025 awards, the 'Community Leader's Community (CLC),' an internal community for NTT DATA Corporation (President: Yutaka Sasaki) supported by Potage, won the 'Business Community Award.' This marks the second consecutive year that a community supported by Potage has received an award.

The community aims to connect entrepreneurs, companies, local governments, and students between Toyama and Tokyo to generate seeds for new businesses and collaborations. It operates through a three-layered structure: 'Q-reation' (pitch program), 'NAKASAI' (dialogue space), and 'Q-reation Lab' (mentoring). Despite being government-led, it is characterized by a structure where activities expand based on participant initiative. In fiscal year 2025, the project achieved concrete results, including 11 successful matches, 7 projects moving to PoC/collaboration, and the establishment of a local office in Toyama by Jizoku Inc.
