Kobe City Chamber Orchestra x Kobe Portopia Hotel: 'Hospitality through sound' for hotel guests on June 19

Kobe Portopia Hotel (Chuo Ward, Kobe; General Manager: Go Ito) will host a special version of the Kobe City Chamber Orchestra's 'Street Corner Concert' in its main lobby.

The performance will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10:30 and 11:10, providing relaxing music for hotel guests visiting for lodging, dining, or events. The string trio (two violins, one double bass) composed of orchestra members will perform well-known classics, filling the 17m-high open hotel lobby with calming music.

This lobby performance was decided through consultations between the orchestra office and the hotel to share the orchestra's appeal with a wider audience. The initiative aims to spark interest in the orchestra while providing guests with a moment of relaxation through live performance.
