The Tea Lounge "Belle Cour" at the Kobe Portopia Hotel (Chuo-ku, Kobe; General Manager: Go Ito) will be selling a collaboration afternoon tea set with the theater-style aquarium "átoa" for a limited time from Monday, April 27, 2026, to Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Belle Cour's afternoon tea set delivers the charm of the four seasons along with seasonal tastes. This time, to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Kobe Portopia Hotel on March 9, 2026, and the 5th anniversary of "átoa" on October 29 of the same year, this first-ever collaboration has come to fruition. Inspired by the fantastical space of átoa, we present a refreshing lineup that reflects the shimmer of light and water characteristic of early summer.

Átoa was born as a new kind of urban aquarium, fusing an aquarium with art. The hotel's pastry chef visited átoa last autumn and, after numerous trials, has pursued the expression of the worldview that unfolds on each floor of the átoa facility, including its symbol, Japan's largest spherical water tank, "AQUA TERRA". We have prepared eight kinds of sweets, which were finalized after being tasted by the átoa staff.
