Latest Volume of Popular Children's Book Series "Animal Detective Mia" Released with First Animated PV

Poplar Publishing Co., Ltd. released the 15th volume of the popular children's book series "Animal Detective Mia," titled "Animal Detective Mia: Piyo Piyo Panic!," on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. In conjunction with the release, an animation PV that faithfully recreates the world of the original work has been premiered for the first time.

### Synopsis of the New Release: "Piyo Piyo Panic!"
Spring has arrived on Crummerkin Island. While the whole island is busy preparing for the Spring Festival, Rusty the rooster, owned by Mrs. Flora, crows loudly all day long, causing much trouble for the islanders. Eventually, a signed petition arrives asking for Rusty to be sent back to the mainland.
When the Animal Detective Agency goes to talk to Rusty, they discover he is crowing because he feels bored and lonely while the hens are brooding over their eggs. The detectives come up with an idea to cheer him up... but then, 30 newly hatched chicks escape from the coop, throwing the Spring Festival into a panic! Alongside the festival's main "Egg Hunt," a "Chick Hunt" begins. Can Mia and her friends solve the animals' problems and find all the chicks safely?

### First Animation PV Premiere
A beautiful animated PV has been completed, meticulously depicting the world of the original books. As it encapsulates the "entrance" to Mia's adventures, the charm of the work is instantly conveyed even to those new to the series.

### About the "Animal Detective Mia" Series
The protagonist is Mia White, an ordinary girl who moves to a small island. When she wears a silver necklace inherited from her great-aunt, she gains the ability to understand animal speech! Animals with troubles come to her for help, leading her to form the "Animal Detective Agency" with a terrier, a parrot, and four cats to solve cases together.
