Polimill Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representatives: Ayame Ito, Nonoka Taniguchi), a leader in the social implementation of generative AI, held an introductory training session on its generative AI for local governments, "QommonsAI," for staff of Kagami Town, Okayama Prefecture, on June 11, 2026. A total of approximately 26 people participated in the morning and afternoon sessions, creating a training environment where high concentration and positive motivation coexisted.
Training Session
Training Implementation Overview
Implementing Municipality: Kagami Town, Okayama Prefecture
Training Curriculum: Introductory Level
Format: On-site
Number of Participants: Approximately 26 in total (Morning: 12, Afternoon: 14)
Participant Characteristics: While some staff who adopted the system last year are proficient users, others participated to learn from the basics. The proportion of experienced users is high, but proficiency levels vary.
Learning "Safe Utilization" Through Both Use Cases and Morals
Many participants use QommonsAI at least once a week, with 2-3 individuals in each session using it three or more times a week, or daily. On the other hand, a significant number of participants were new to generative AI or had not logged in for some time. Therefore, the training was structured to carefully explain the fundamentals and basics, taking into account the varying levels of proficiency.
Many staff members who had adopted the system but were unsure about specific application methods found the explanations, including use cases, helped clarify their vision for operational use. The training also received positive feedback for its emphasis on the morals of handling information, with one participant stating, "I wish people who use generative AI personally would also take this course."

Comments from the Person in Charge (Morita)
What was impressive about the training in Kagami Town was seeing staff members from multiple departments voluntarily gather after the session to earnestly discuss "how to safely use generated images as a town," transcending departmental boundaries. Each staff member had a strong awareness of the challenge, thinking, "How can we use QommonsAI to improve operational efficiency?" Their attitude, which aimed to directly link the technology to practical improvements in their work rather than mere curiosity, was evident throughout.
We believe that the key to spreading this enthusiasm throughout the organization is the emergence of a "leader" in each department who drives utilization. If there is someone readily available for casual questions, adoption will naturally spread. We will continue to support Kagami Town's momentum by fostering such leaders.
