Yayoiken Asagaya Minami Store Opens with a 'Premium' Design Concept!

Plenus Corporation currently operates 376 locations nationwide for its set meal restaurant chain, Yayoiken, as of the end of June 2026. We are pleased to announce the opening of the 'Asagaya Minami Store' on Wednesday, July 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

This store embodies the brand image of Yayoiken, which was unveiled in December 2023. Designed with a 'premium' aesthetic, it features the logo signboard, modern 'wa' (Japanese-style) noren (curtain), and wallpaper inspired by historical materials from 'Yayoiken,' the origin of the restaurant's name. The store aims to provide a comfortable dining experience through tablet ordering at tables, exclusive dessert menus, and a drink bar. Of course, the 'Okawari-dokoro' (refill corner) is also available, where customers can enjoy free refills of rice, dashi broth, and pickles.

・Logo and Symbol Mark:

The logo uses a modern Mincho font without rounded edges, creating a refined harmony with Japanese characters, alphabets, and the symbol mark. By combining Japanese and English, the brand name 'Yayoiken' is instantly recognizable both in Japan and overseas.

The symbol mark is designed based on the letters Y, Y, and I from 'YAYOI,' shaped like a noren. In the lower right corner, a hanko (seal) with the word 'yayoi' written in hiragana adds authenticity to the noren design. The color 'Yayo Red' symbolizes 'the sun aiming for growth, passionate challenges toward the future, and warm, caring communication,' while 'Yayo Wakakusa' (Yayo young grass), used where the noren appears lifted, represents the sprouting of plants in early spring, reflecting the meaning of 'Yayoi.' Together, these premium colors express a modern 'wa' (Japanese) style.
