Okinawa Prefecture Higashi Village Renews LINE Official Account! PlayNext Lab Inc. Provides System and Construction Support

PlayNext Lab Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takumi Kashiwa; hereinafter "PlayNext Lab") announced that it has renewed the LINE official account of Higashi Village, Okinawa Prefecture (hereinafter "Higashi Village") utilizing the "Smart Public Lab for GovTech Program" and commenced its operation on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Renewal of LINE Official Account

For the renewal of Higashi Village's LINE official account, PlayNext Lab's "Smart Public Lab for GovTech Program" was adopted. This renewal also implemented chatbot functions for information categories such as "Basic Menu," "Daily Life," and "Attraction Information."

Three Enhanced "Rich Menus"

You can launch chatbots from the three rich menus ("Basic Menu," "Daily Life," and "Attraction Information") fixed at the bottom of the screen and transition to websites where various information is posted. Previously, information could be obtained by searching for a homepage and accessing the relevant page, but now residents can easily reach information sources from the LINE chat screen.

"Segmented Delivery Function" to Customize Desired Delivery Categories

The "Segmented Delivery" function has been introduced to deliver only the information that residents desire. Residents can customize their desired delivery categories by answering in "Reception Settings." Since information can be delivered tailored to what residents want, information dissemination is expected to become even more effective.
