(Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takumi Kashiwa; hereinafter "PlayNext Lab") announces that Hannan City, Osaka Prefecture (hereinafter "Hannan City"), has renewed its official LINE account utilizing the "Smart Public Lab for GovTech Program" and commenced operations on April 1, 2026 (Wednesday).

Renewal of the Official LINE Account

For the renewal of Hannan City's official LINE account, PlayNext Lab's "Smart Public Lab for GovTech Program" was adopted. This renewal implemented chatbot functions for information categories such as "Daily Life/Disaster Prevention," "Child-rearing/Health," and "Public Relations/Tourism." Additionally, a "segment delivery function" was introduced to make information dissemination even more effective. This makes it possible to deliver various municipal information.

Three Enhanced "Rich Menus"

Various chatbots can be activated from the three rich menus fixed at the bottom of the screen: "Daily Life/Disaster Prevention," "Child-rearing/Health," and "Public Relations/Tourism." Previously, information could be obtained by searching the website and accessing the relevant page, but now, by selecting options according to the chatbot's guidance, residents can reach the information source more easily.

"Segment Delivery Function" to Customize Desired Delivery Categories

Previously, messages were sent to all residents registered on LINE, but after the renewal, desired delivery categories can be customized by answering in "Reception Settings." Since information can be delivered tailored to what residents want, it is expected that information dissemination from the city will be even more effective than before.
