Piaggio Group Japan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Shiba 2-chome, CEO: Reichi M. Kenji) will begin accepting orders for Aprilia's flagship superbike, the 'Aprilia RSV4 Factory,' starting July 14, 2026, at official Aprilia dealers nationwide, limited to 12 units.
The Aprilia RSV4 Factory was built to win races and boasts a lineage unmatched by any other superbike, earning critical acclaim and numerous category victories over approximately 11 years. It even competed in the MotoGP World Championship with a version based on the RSV4 platform.
The new RSV4 Factory features a redesigned body with integrated winglets derived from MotoGP technology and introduces a predictive electronic control management system that delivers unparalleled circuit performance. This model also reflects Aprilia's commitment to pioneering increasingly sophisticated innovative solutions, including aerodynamics, while meeting EURO 5+ emissions regulations and increasing maximum power output to 220HP.

The bodywork of the new RSV4 has been completely redesigned with two primary objectives: enhancing rider protection and reducing air resistance. The newly adopted winglets, featuring two overlapping wing surfaces, were refined through wind tunnel testing based on Aprilia's MotoGP experience. By increasing downforce, they improve high-precision cornering and high-speed stability. Furthermore, the new aerodynamic design incorporates a more powerful new radiator fan that reduces heat transfer to the rider, and part of the fairing features a specially shaped cowling that prevents air from entering between the fuel tank and the rider's legs, ensuring comfortable riding in all conditions. Overall, the new fairing reduces the drag coefficient (CX) by 6% and wheelie tendency by 8% compared to the previous RSV4, enhancing acceleration performance. The new side panels are seamlessly integrated with the redesigned tail section. The lightweight, minimal rear light unit is mounted on the license plate holder, with the rear turn signal unit serving as the brake light. Therefore, removing the license plate holder allows for easy preparation for circuit riding.
The cockpit of the new RSV4 Factory features a 5-inch color TFT display with updated graphics that now include a fuel indicator, clearly and intuitively displaying essential information to the rider. The handlebar switchbox is backlit, making various settings and operations easier at night. The lightweight aluminum top bridge has been updated to a new design, and the Brembo braking system has been further enhanced with the new Hypure front calipers, which are lighter and more efficient than the Stylema calipers used in previous models.
The RSV4 Factory's 65° V4 1,099cc engine produces a maximum output of 220hp at 13,000rpm and a peak torque of 127Nm at 10,800rpm, establishing the RSV4 as one of the most powerful street-legal superbikes in the world. This engine meets Euro 5+ emissions regulations and features a 52mm throttle body and a redesigned exhaust system.
Aprilia's new electronic control package emphasizes a balance between performance and safety, adding new functions and tuning capabilities to the already comprehensive RSV4 setup. This system helps riders safely and progressively improve as they explore their limits. This functional evolution is achieved through new adaptive and predictive electronic control components for controlling wheelie, traction, and yaw moment.
The predictive algorithm component processes vehicle parameters (speed, lean angle, gear position, throttle position, etc.) in real time, calculating and predicting interventions to achieve smooth and precise control. Additionally, advanced software continuously analyzes the bike's dynamic response and the rider's style, enabling more refined and accurate control.
The RSV4 Factory comes standard with a 6-axis inertial platform, ride-by-wire electronic throttle control, and three riding modes that manage three-level cornering ABS and aPRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control). aPRC is a race-proven system package with the following features:
ATC (Aprilia Traction Control): Allows 8-level adjustment even while riding without closing the throttle. It provides more effective intervention logic and works in conjunction with the newly introduced ASC (Aprilia Slide Control), which offers 3 independent level settings.
(New) AWC (Aprilia Wheelie Control): A new wheelie control system with 3 adjustable levels that uses predictive control. Instead of sudden intervention during a wheelie, it intervenes smoothly before a wheelie occurs, enhancing performance. This adaptive function, designed for circuit riding, learns the rider's characteristics and automatically adjusts the intervention level to ensure optimal performance.
AEM (Aprilia Engine Map): Three engine maps are available to adjust engine characteristics and power delivery.
AQS (Aprilia Quick Shift): An electronically controlled gearbox that enables ultra-fast gear changes without closing the throttle or operating the clutch lever. It includes a downshift function that allows clutchless downshifting, and downshifting while the throttle is open is also possible.
The Track Pack, standard on the RSV4 Factory, includes the following features:
Race Dashboard: A meter graphics layout specifically designed for circuit riding
ALC (Aprilia Launch Control): A circuit-only start assist system with 3 adjustable levels for circuit riding, featuring a highly effective launch dash function.
APL (Aprilia Pit Limiter): A convenient system that allows the rider to select and limit maximum speed in the pit lane or easily comply with road speed limits.
(New Feature) ASC (Aprilia Slide Control): A new slide control system with 3 independent level settings that provides optimal intervention levels according to the rider's riding style.
