Philips MRI User National Convention "Gyro Cup 2026" to be held in Kagoshima in October 2026

Philips Japan, a subsidiary of Royal Philips, will host the 9th "Gyro Cup" in Kagoshima on October 16, 2026. This event, first held in 2010, is a national competition where Philips MRI users showcase their imaging techniques. MRI technology, known for its superior tissue contrast, allows for diverse image expressions through parameter combinations. The Gyro Cup encourages innovative imaging methods, contributing to advancements in MRI. The event's concept has expanded internationally. Philips MRI's design supports these technical challenges, and accumulated knowledge from the competition creates new clinical value. A call for papers for unique imaging ideas and techniques using Philips MRI devices is open from February to June 2026, with preliminary rounds in July 2026. The event will be held after the first day of the 54th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine at Shiroyama Hotel Kagoshima.
