Preferred Robotics Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tatsuru Isube) announces that its AI and autonomous mobility software has been adopted in the commercial robot vacuum cleaner 'RAPiiTT (Rapitt)', launched on July 16, 2026, by Amano Corporation (Headquarters: Kohoku-ku, Yokohama; President and CEO: Manabu Yamazaki; hereinafter 'Amano').

A compact AI-powered cleaning robot combining high dust removal performance with quiet operation. Optional elevator integration is also available.

RAPiiTT is a dry-type commercial robot vacuum cleaner developed by applying Amano’s expertise in robot cleaning system deployment and operations, along with data and autonomous navigation technologies accumulated through the co-development of the compact floor-cleaning robot 'HAPiiBOT (Hapibot)' with our company. The embedded software further evolves the AI and robotics technologies honed through HAPiiBOT and our 'Kachaka' series of autonomous transport robots, enabling smooth and stable autonomous navigation.

In recent years, while expectations for robot adoption in the cleaning industry have grown due to severe labor shortages, challenges such as operational complexity, high management burden, and the need for manual intervention during floor transitions have remained. RAPiiTT addresses these issues by integrating with elevators and security systems, enabling autonomous cleaning across multiple floors, centralized cloud management, and remote support functions—significantly improving operational efficiency and reducing labor requirements.

Autonomous Cleaning Across Multiple Floors

RAPiiTT supports integration with elevators and security systems, enabling autonomous movement and cleaning within buildings. This reduces the need for manual transportation between floors, previously required, and enables automation of cleaning operations across multiple floors.

In particular, in large commercial facilities and office buildings with floors spread across multiple levels, RAPiiTT enables efficient, building-wide robotic cleaning operations, contributing to labor reduction and improved productivity in cleaning tasks.

High Cleaning Performance and Quiet Operation

The cleaning system features side brushes, roller brushes, and a cyclone dust collection system, allowing broad collection of debris—from large particles to fine dust—across a maximum cleaning width of 500 mm.

Additionally, a noise-reduction design has been adopted to minimize motor and exhaust noise. This achieves both high dust collection efficiency and low operating sound, making it suitable for quiet environments such as offices and commercial facilities.

Furthermore, the battery is designed for easy replacement and supports automatic recharging, supporting long-duration cleaning operations and ensuring stable performance.
