TYL Inc. has published a report analyzing successful job transitions of veterinarians via its 'Vet Agent' service. The average age for successful job changes in 2025 was 33.1 years, about 13 years younger than the national average. The 25-29 age group was most active, representing 30% of successful cases. The findings highlight a trend where early and mid-career veterinarians actively use recruitment agents to verify educational support and surgical opportunities, while mobility in the 30s is rising due to demand for specialists and clinical leads.
