(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Kazuyuki Ichimura; hereinafter "Persol Business Process Design"), part of the Persol Group, which espouses the vision "Work and Smile.", concluded a location agreement with Kitakyushu City on April 3, 2026. Going forward, the company will strive to revitalize the region by actively creating employment opportunities and realizing diverse working styles for Kitakyushu citizens at the Kokura Center.

Background Persol Communication Service Co., Ltd.*, a subsidiary of Persol Business Process Design, operates 10 business locations across Japan. Since its entry into Kitakyushu City approximately 26 years ago, the company has been developing its business as a base for contact centers and IT support. While deepening its collaboration and exchange with Kitakyushu City, it has contributed to job creation in Kitakyushu City, including creating a cumulative total of approximately 11,000 jobs to date.

Persol Business Process Design's Initiatives in Kitakyushu City Through this location agreement, Persol Business Process Design aims to create employment for personnel who will provide BPO support and high-value-added services, leveraging its strengths in back-office operations, business process improvement in sales areas, and expertise in technology utilization. Furthermore, by focusing on developing DX talent through reskilling, the company will align with and support Kitakyushu City's initiative to "secure and develop DX talent in Kitakyushu City."

Through the establishment of this center and the conclusion of the location agreement, the company will enhance Kitakyushu City's presence as a BPO center and resolve challenges faced by companies across Japan through BPO support.
