(Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Tetsuya Yuasa; hereinafter "Payroll"), provider of the payroll calculation service "HR BPaaS," has provided support for all interested employees to obtain the "Generative AI Passport" certification, with the goal of acquiring the foundational knowledge necessary to become an organization that actively utilizes AI. We are pleased to announce that 330 employees (equivalent to 52% of all full-time staff) have successfully obtained the "Generative AI Passport" certification.

Background and Purpose Payroll has established the evolution of its services as an "HR AI Tech Company"—going beyond the traditional framework of payroll calculation services—as a pillar of its management strategy. At the same time, the company places great importance on fostering a culture where all employees generate innovation by utilizing generative AI and AI agents in their daily operations. This support initiative was launched to promote the acquisition of foundational knowledge required to realize this organizational culture.

About the "Generative AI Passport" The Generative AI Passport is one of Japan's largest (*) certification exams, hosted by the Generative AI Utilization Association (GUGA). It covers foundational knowledge, trends, and usage methods regarding generative AI, as well as essential precautions such as information leakage and rights infringement, allowing AI beginners to systematically acquire the minimum literacy required. *Based on GUGA research regarding the number of examinees for generative AI-related certification exams announced as of November 2025.
