Rakuten Pay to Run Campaign Offering Up to 3% Points Return with Salary Receipt

Rakuten Payment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Rakuten Payment") announced that it will conduct a campaign titled "Rakuten Pay Balance Salary Receipt Promotion: Get an Extra 1.5% Return on Payments!" on its cashless payment service "Rakuten Pay" from 10:00 AM on Monday, June 15, 2026, to 9:59 AM on Monday, August 3, 2026.

During the campaign, users who register during the entry period and receive their salaries via "Rakuten Pay Salary Receipt" will receive a 1.5% point return on all payments made using their "Rakuten Pay Balance" through the "Rakuten Pay" app. Since the standard point return program of the "Rakuten Pay" app offers a maximum of 1.5% back, combining it with this campaign allows for a total return of up to 3%.

Certain conditions apply to point rewards, and the reward points (including time-limited points, with a maximum cap) are subject to rules. For details, please check the campaign overview or the official campaign webpage.

"Rakuten Pay Salary Receipt" is a service that allows users to receive a portion or the entirety of their salary in their "Rakuten Pay Balance." The received "Rakuten Pay Balance" can be used for payments at merchants accepting "Rakuten Pay," on Rakuten Group services such as "Rakuten Ichiba," "Rakuten Travel," and "Rakuten Mobile," and for tax and public utility payments. It can also be used for investment trust savings on Rakuten Securities. In addition, users can easily send funds to family and friends free of charge using the transfer function in the "Rakuten Pay" app.

Rakuten Payment aims to expand opportunities for cashless payments and improve services to provide users with a more rewarding and convenient payment experience.

How to Participate 1. Entry into the campaign page. 2. Receive salary through "Rakuten Pay Salary Receipt" and make code payments using "Rakuten Pay" with "Rakuten Pay Balance" as the source of funds. *The order of step 1 and step 2 does not matter. *Some payment methods are excluded.

Benefits A 1.5% return in Rakuten Points will be rewarded for the payment amount using Rakuten Pay code payment at participating stores during the campaign period. *Only payments funded by "Rakuten Pay Balance" are eligible. *The maximum points rewarded per user is capped at 10,000 points, with fractions rounded down.

Point Distribution Points will be distributed around the end of October 2026 as time-limited points valid until Monday, November 30, 2026.
