Milky☆Subway Galaxy Express Exhibition in Sapporo: Director Yohei Kameyama to Host Signing and Talk Event

Sapporo PARCO (3-3 Minami 1-jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo) will host the 'Galaxy Express Milky☆Subway: We've Been to the Ends of the Galaxy! Exhibition in Sapporo' at 7F PARCO FACTORY from Saturday, August 8, 2026, to Sunday, August 23, 2026.

This exhibition, previously held at PARCO locations in Ikebukuro, Sendai, Nagoya, Shinsaibashi, and Shizuoka, celebrates the broadcast of the animated series 'Milky☆Subway,' the highly anticipated sequel to the 2022 YouTube sensation 'Milky☆Highway,' which surpassed 11 million total views. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of the series through photo spots, behind-the-scenes animation production content, and new elements from the theatrical release 'Temporary Express Milky☆Subway: All Stations Stop, Destination Theater,' offering exclusive experiences available only at this exhibition.

Additionally, on opening day, August 8 (Sat), a signing event with director Yohei Kameyama—responsible for direction, screenplay, character design, and production—will be held, followed by a talk event and screening of 'Temporary Express Milky☆Subway: All Stations Stop, Destination Theater' at TOHO Cinemas Susukino.

Director, Screenplay, Character Design, Production: Yohei Kameyama (Kameyama Yohei) PROFILE

Born August 16, 1996 From a young age, dreamed of becoming an animator in the Western-style hand-drawn animation tradition. Studied in California, USA, starting summer 2016, but reconsidered his future path upon realizing hand-drawn animation was no longer dominant in the West and developed interest in 3D media. Voluntarily withdrew from university in 2019 and returned to Japan. Enrolled in a Tokyo vocational school in 2020. In February 2022, released the short animation 'Milky☆Highway' as an independent graduation project. Began freelance work, participating in music video productions and corporate collaboration projects. Started production on new work 'Galaxy Express Milky☆Subway' in 2023.
