Pal System Gunma Consumers' Cooperative (Headquarters: Naka-Orui-cho, Takasaki City; President: Makiko Ohira) will hold the 2025 fiscal year project activity report meeting and the 2026 fiscal year project grant ceremony for its "Citizen Activity Grant Program" at the Takasaki Center (co-located with headquarters) on Wednesday, April 8. Aiming for Pal System Gunma's philosophy, "We will create a rich and vibrant community through the power of cooperation," the cooperative financially supports citizen groups working to solve issues such as isolation, poverty, and domestic violence support in the region.
Supporting community gathering places and international exchange
The activity report meeting will present the achievements of six organizations that received 1,366,600 yen in grants in fiscal year 2025. The grant ceremony will introduce the projects planned by six organizations that will receive 1.6 million yen in fiscal year 2026. It will share grassroots activities by citizens addressing various regional issues such as poverty, abuse, isolation of children, the elderly, and people with foreign roots.
Each organization will interact as partners aiming to solve regional issues through presentations of their project contents.
