Honoka Kawakami, affiliated with Hiroshima Bishoujo Zukan, which is operated by OTAGROUP Inc. (Headquarters: Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture; Representative Director: Ryuji Shimonishi), won the Runner-Up Grand Prix at the "Bishoujo Zukan AWARD 2026" held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, out of approximately 4,500 applicants. She also received the "Kyoto Hosho Award."

About "Bishoujo Zukan AWARD 2026"

"Bishoujo Zukan," a local free paper featuring beautiful girls from across Japan, has launched the careers of numerous actors and talents since its inception in 2002, including Fumi Nikaido, Maika Yamamoto, Hinako Sakurai, Fumika Baba, and Yuina Kuroshima before their major debuts.

The "Bishoujo Zukan AWARD" is a nationwide audition for the next generation of talent, held annually since 2019 by the free paper. The audition aims to eliminate geographical disadvantages by utilizing both offline screenings held at venues across the country—from Hokkaido to Okinawa—and online screenings via "MixChannel," accessible from anywhere. After more than six months of judging, 55 finalists were selected from approximately 4,500 applicants to compete in the final round.
