Cloud ERP 'ZAC' Significantly Enhances 'Custom Field Function' to Allow Addition of Company-Specific Data Items

Oro Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Atsushi Kawada; hereinafter 'Oro'), provider of the cloud ERP 'ZAC,' has updated its 'Custom Field Function.' In addition to the existing project basic information, this feature can now be applied to key master data such as clients and vendors.

■ Background of the 'Custom Field Function' Enhancement

The 'Custom Field Function,' added to ZAC in December 2024, allows users to configure and add their own input fields. It was initially implemented on the project basic information screen, enabling the addition of arbitrary information items to each project.

This feature has enabled the low-cost and rapid addition of industry- or company-specific information items that were previously difficult to manage flexibly. It has already been adopted by many companies and has been well-received.

However, we also received requests to expand the scope of use, such as 'I want to add unique management items not only to project information but also to employee and business partner information.' To meet these demands, we have expanded the application range of this function to ZAC's key master data while further enhancing its convenience.

■ Overview of the Update

With this enhancement, the following capabilities are now available:

1. Expansion of Application Scope

The application scope of custom fields has been expanded from 'Project Basic Information' to the following key master screens:

● Client/Customer Master: Examples: 'Credit Rank,' 'Anti-Social Check Date,' 'Contract Renewal Month,' etc.

● Vendor Master: Examples: 'Specialty/Category,' 'Delivery Track Record,' 'Contract Renewal Month,' etc.

● Employee Master (Scheduled for release in May 2026): Examples: 'Skills/Certifications,' 'Arbitrary Management Codes,' etc.

2. Field Type 'Master Reference'

We have added a 'Master Reference' field type, allowing users to link custom fields to other existing ZAC master data, further improving data consistency and usability.
