NPO Origami Takes Over Regional Event Supply Rental Business "Kashimonoya"

NPO Origami (Narashino City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative Director: Norihiko Tsuzuki) will take over the event supply rental business "Kashimonoya," previously operated by Yukaina Kikakusha Co., Ltd., and will commence operations under a new management structure from July 1, 2026.

Through this business succession, we aim to continue the service that has supported regional events for many years, while also challenging the creation of new models that foster youth social participation and revitalize community activities.

Passing the Baton of the Indispensable "Kashimonoya" to the Future

"Kashimonoya" has been a rental service for essential equipment for regional events, such as tents, tables, chairs, and festival stall supplies, supporting local festivals, school events, and community association events in Narashino City and surrounding areas for many years.

However, in recent years, the business has faced challenges in its continuation due to changes in the operating environment and a lack of successors.

Therefore, NPO Origami, which has been involved in community development and volunteer activities, has decided to take over the business and connect its value to the future as "infrastructure essential for the community."

From "Lending Items" to Supporting "Community Vibrancy"

NPO Origami plans and operates community activities and volunteer initiatives, primarily with students and young people, and has built a network involving a cumulative total of 904 young people from 101 universities.

Furthermore, we have been involved in over 100 events annually, supporting regional events in collaboration with local governments, companies, and shopping districts.

With this business succession, we will continue the existing rental business and expand our services by leveraging Origami's unique strengths, including planning and operational support for regional events, coordination and management of volunteer staff, event creation to connect young people with the community, and support for revitalizing local communities.
