【June 18, 2026】Hilton Tokyo Odaiba (General Manager: Hideki Nakasato, Daiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo) will launch its first-ever 'Japanese Afternoon Tea Set' at Sakura, its 3rd-floor Japanese restaurant, starting Saturday, July 18, 2026. Available exclusively on weekends and holidays, this summer afternoon tea offers a refined experience in a tranquil space overlooking a Japanese garden and Tokyo Bay, featuring refreshing traditional sweets and savory dishes crafted by master chefs from the restaurant’s specialized tempura, teppanyaki, and sushi counters.
The highlight is a selection of wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) themed around coolness and lightness. Guests can enjoy chilled warabi mochi with a smooth texture, nerikiri confections depicting clear streams and ayu fish, moist black soybean and matcha terrine, and creamy pumpkin and soy milk mousse—each crafted to highlight the natural flavors of seasonal ingredients.
The savory selection features eight expertly prepared items by chefs from Sakura’s specialized counters. Guests can savor premium dishes such as black-haired Wagyu roast beef, three types of hand-rolled temari sushi, and seasonal tempura—all signature specialties of 'Sakura' served in small portions for a diverse tasting experience.
To conclude, guests are invited to enjoy a self-serve shaved ice station, customizing their dessert with six types of syrups and toppings, including kinako (roasted soybean flour), matcha, azuki beans, black sugar syrup, and condensed milk cream. Relax and savor the cool sweets and authentic Japanese cuisine in the open, bay-facing space.
