Orico Launches "My Forrent Card" for Credit Card Payments of Rent and Other Fees

Orient Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Makoto Umemiya, hereinafter "Orico") will begin accepting applications for "My Forrent Card" (hereinafter, "this card") on March 30, 2026, which supports credit card payments for rent, management fees, parking fees, guarantee fees, etc. (hereinafter "rent, etc.").

This card is a digital card issued to contractors of Orico Forrent Insure Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Orico Forrent Insure"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Orico. In addition to daily shopping, it can also be used for rent, etc., realizing streamlined management by consolidating monthly payments onto this card.

While cashless payments are becoming more widespread, payments for rent, etc., have primarily been by bank transfer or account transfer. By offering a service that allows credit card payments for rent, etc., we aim to improve customer convenience.

This card supports credit card payments for monthly rent, etc., and automatically accumulates points. Furthermore, by consolidating payments for daily shopping, utilities, etc., onto this card, payment management can be streamlined. Accumulated points and usage statements can be checked on "e Orico," a web service for Orico members, which also helps reduce the burden of household budget management.

2. Fastest Same-Day Use with AI Credit Assessment

Utilizing proprietary AI-based credit assessment, the screening process is completed in as little as 90 seconds from application. Card information can be viewed via "e Orico," and the card can be used immediately for contactless payments at stores (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Wallet) and online payments on e-commerce sites.

*Immediate issuance may not be available in cases where identity verification cannot be completed at the time of application or if the applicant does not meet the prescribed screening criteria.

3. Environmentally Conscious Digital Card

This card is a digital card that does not issue a physical plastic card. By reducing resource usage and CO₂ emissions associated with card manufacturing and delivery, we provide a sustainable service with a reduced environmental impact.
