OpenStreet Co., Ltd. and Denseisya Co., Ltd. have formed a business alliance and announced the introduction of 300 electric-assist bicycles to one of Japan's largest shared bicycle services, "HELLO CYCLING," starting in May 2026. OpenStreet operates the electric-assist bicycle sharing service "HELLO CYCLING" in 29 prefectures, with stations installed at approximately 14,000 locations. The number of vehicles exceeds 58,000, and it is used by approximately 5.59 million members. Based in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, Denseisya operates in various fields including not only electrical equipment but also communications/broadcasting, air conditioning, fire prevention/security, and environmental energy. Its strength lies in its "direct construction system," where it basically performs integrated services from design to construction and maintenance in-house. By participating in the shared bicycle business, the company will promote initiatives that contribute to solving various regional issues, such as improving convenience and mobility for residents and visitors, as well as environmental measures. OpenStreet and Denseisya will continue to contribute to creating safe and livable towns by expanding the electric-assist bicycle sharing service, and will realize a sustainable regional society by providing environmentally friendly transportation that does not emit CO2. To use the service, you need to download the "HELLO CYCLING" app. After registering as a free member on the app, you can easily search for stations, reserve bicycles, and make payments. In addition, you can rent and return bicycles at any station displayed on the app's map nationwide, allowing you to use them conveniently whenever and as much as you want.
