Yoshikawa City Partners with OpenStreet and Mobility Platform to Launch 'HELLO CYCLING' Shared Mobility Pilot Program

OpenStreet Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Tomoaki Kudo; hereinafter 'OpenStreet'), Mobility Platform Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Saitama City, Saitama; Representative Director & President: Atsushi Ishii; hereinafter 'Mobility Platform'), and Yoshikawa City, Saitama Prefecture (Mayor: Shigeto Nakahara) have concluded an 'Agreement on Pilot Experiments for Shared Mobility Business.' Based on this agreement, a shared cycling business utilizing the 'HELLO CYCLING' platform, one of Japan's largest, will commence in Yoshikawa City on May 1, 2026.

The partnership aims to examine the effectiveness and challenges of shared mobility as a new means of transport that enhances traffic convenience and complements existing public transit. The agreement was signed on March 30, 2026. Initially, stations will be established at 15 public facilities, including Yoshikawa Station and Yoshikawa Minami Station, with plans for sequential expansion through tripartite cooperation. Since 'HELLO CYCLING' stations are already operational in neighboring Koshigaya City, Misato City, and Nagareyama City in Chiba Prefecture, inter-city travel is also possible.

### Agreement Overview

- **Yoshikawa City:** Overall supervision, providing public land for stations.
- **OpenStreet:** Providing the application, system, and equipment; collecting and analyzing data for the city.
- **Mobility Platform:** Maintenance, operation, restoration of facilities, and securing private-sector stations.

Users must download the 'HELLO CYCLING' app. After free registration, users can search for stations, reserve bikes, and make payments easily. Bikes can be rented and returned at any station shown on the map nationwide.
