Scenes from the Day: Wedding Venue's Unique Spatial Design Gently Encouraged Participants

The 6th-floor Harbor Room, designed with the concept of "VOYAGE" (Voyage), featured an impressive interior with calm dark brown tones. The table coordination and cuisine maintained the high quality expected of a wedding venue.

At 6:30 PM, with the signal to start, the venue's curtains were drawn, revealing the sea of Minatomirai and the sunset, prompting exclamations of "Wow!" from various parts of the venue. The initially tense participants relaxed, and smiles and conversations naturally began. The immediate cohesion of the venue from the start was also due to this location and the power of the spatial design, which is a specialty of the wedding hall. As self-introduction time and free talk progressed, conversations blossomed at each table, and participants were seen naturally exchanging contact information without staff prompting.

During free time, the rooftop terrace, offering a 360-degree view, was opened. Participants were seen enjoying the romantic night view of Minatomirai in groups, and also as pairs. An arrangement where two tickets could be combined to exchange for a special cocktail was also provided, creating a natural opportunity for communication.

At the end of the event, participants were given a special tour of the ceremony venue, usually reserved only for actual weddings. Stepping into the solemn space, participants again exclaimed with delight, following their reactions on the rooftop. Many also took commemorative photos, marking the end of an evening where the meeting place, along with joyful memories, became a setting where the prospect of "I'd like to have my wedding here someday" made future marriage feel more tangible.

Participant Feedback

After the event, participants shared the following comments:

* "The space was very beautiful, and with food and drinks included, it was an event worth the price." * "It was my first time at a matchmaking party, but it was easy to navigate, and I'd like to come again." * "My image of a 'matchmaking party' completely changed. I want to participate in other events in the future." * "Conversation time was short, and it often ended with just self-introductions. It would have been better to have more time to talk deeply with people I wanted to speak with more."

Future Outlook

This event confirmed that the unique spatial design of a wedding venue can lead to positive experiences for matchmaking participants. On the other hand, there were comments from participants requesting "more conversation time," which will be utilized in designing future programs. Omikale will continue to leverage the insights gained from this event to expand marriage-hunting as a more accessible and positive option through collaborations with businesses in various industries.
