[Cloud Factoring] OLTA Launches Joint Cloud Factoring Business with Toei Shinkin Bank

OLTA, Inc., which provides Japan's first online factoring service 'OLTA Cloud Factoring,' will begin offering the 'Toei Shinkin Bank Cloud Factoring powered by OLTA' service on June 1, 2026. With this partnership, the number of regional financial institutions with which OLTA has an OEM partnership for cloud factoring has expanded to 48. In this partnership, OLTA provides consulting on the planning, development, introduction, and operation of web services to Toei Shinkin Bank, while Toei Shinkin Bank guides corporate and individual business customers to the service. For Toei Shinkin Bank's customers, in addition to the financial services they use daily, utilizing the cloud factoring provided by OLTA makes it possible to more easily procure short-term, small-amount working capital. In recent years, 'alternative finance,' which uses technology as a new means of fundraising for SMEs, has been attracting attention, and the use of online factoring is expanding rapidly. Furthermore, following the government's decision to abolish 'promissory notes and checks' by the end of fiscal 2026, 'bill discounting,' which many SMEs have used as a means of short-term fundraising, will no longer be available as before. To complement fundraising needs during this transition period, it is necessary to promote cloud factoring in cooperation with regional financial institutions.
