The Bakery & Pastry Shop offers seasonal sweets made with fresh ingredients and artisanal breads that capture the spirit of the season.
This summer’s sweets include the “White Peach Cream Puff,” generously filled with fragrant seasonal white peaches; the “Mango Verrine,” a layered glass dessert featuring fresh mango; and the “Mango Tart,” lavishly topped with ripe mango. Guests can enjoy the juicy sweetness of fresh fruit paired with the refined flavors unique to hotel-made confections. From the bakery, light and refreshing breads incorporating familiar Japanese ingredients such as kinako (roasted soybean flour), umeboshi (pickled plum), and matcha are introduced. Highlights include the “Kinako Roll,” bursting with nutty aroma; the “Ume Shiso Salt Butter Bread,” where the tangy-sweet flavor of plum harmonizes with salted butter; and the “Matcha Mont Blanc Danish,” offering deep, rich matcha flavor—an exquisite fusion of Japanese and Western tastes.
