Okeanos Selected for Tokyo GX Support Project to Expand Plastic Alternatives in Japan

Sustainable material developer Okeanos has established its first Asian subsidiary in Tokyo. Its patented "Made from Stone™" technology, which reduces petroleum-based plastic use by up to 60%, was selected for Tokyo's "GX Foreign Enterprise Market Entry Support Project." The calcium carbonate-based material can be integrated into existing production lines without new equipment investment, targeting high-demand markets like convenience store bags and food packaging in Japan.
