Setouchi Retreat Aonagi Joins International Environmental Short Film Festival Satellite Screening Series

Setouchi Retreat Aonagi by Onko Chishin, a luxury hotel in Matsuyama, Ehime, operated by destination hotel producer Onko Chishin, is participating in the 'Oceanic Global Short Film Festival: Design Hotels Screening Series 2026.' This festival is co-hosted by Oceanic Global and Design Hotels™.

Recognized as an official activity of the UN 'Ocean Decade,' the festival kicks off in June 2026 in New York, London, and Los Angeles, after which award-winning short films will tour Design Hotels™ properties worldwide.

Setouchi Retreat Aonagi will screen five films exclusively for hotel guests over five days: June 13, 14, 20, 21, and 27, 2026. The hotel offers an experience where global ocean stories harmonize with the Seto Inland Sea within architecture designed by Tadao Ando.
