On May 28, 2026, a delegation from the University of Ottawa in Canada, led by Vice-President, Research and Innovation Julie St-Pierre, visited Okayama University and paid a courtesy call on President Yasutomu Nasu. Representing Okayama University at the meeting were Director (Medical Affairs) and Hospital Director Yoshinobu Maeda, Vice President (International and Alumni Affairs) Takayoshi Suzuki, Vice President (International Education and Endowment Strategy) Mitsuhiro Okayasu, Dean of the Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences Keiji Naruse, Dean of the Medical School Jun Wada, Professor Hisashi Masuyama of the Academic Institute of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Obstetrics and Gynecology), and Assistant Professor Kazuhiro Okamoto of the Academic Institute for Medical Development (Obstetrics and Gynecology).
