NVIDIA and Microsoft Unveil 'RTX Spark' Superchip for Personal AI Era

NVIDIA has announced the NVIDIA RTX Spark, a new superchip redefining Windows PCs for the era of personal AI agents, providing a class of computer that evolves from a tool into a teammate.

RTX Spark is the world's first Windows PC chip designed specifically for personal agents, featuring 1 petaflop of AI performance, industry-leading power efficiency, and up to 128GB of integrated memory. NVIDIA and Microsoft are collaborating to deliver a native Windows experience for personal agents, including new security primitives and NVIDIA OpenShell, enabling agents to run securely on the primary device.

Capabilities include: - Rendering 3D scenes over 90GB - 12K 4:2:2 video editing and 4K AI video generation - Running 120B parameter LLMs locally with up to 1 million tokens of context - AAA gaming at 1440p resolution exceeding 100fps

Laptops and compact desktops featuring RTX Spark are scheduled for release this autumn from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI, with Acer and GIGABYTE to follow.
