NTV HR Research Institute Appoints Former Police Commissioner General Setsuo Tanaka as Executive Supervisor

Setsuo Tanaka

Joined the National Police Agency in 1966. Held key positions including Chief of the Miyagi Prefectural Police, Director General of the Traffic Bureau of the National Police Agency, and Deputy Commissioner General. Became the 18th Commissioner General of the National Police Agency in 2000. After retiring, served as Chairman of the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) and the Police Association. Also served as an outside auditor for NGK Insulators, Ltd. (now NGK Ltd.), Konami Corporation (now Konami Group Corporation), and Secom Co., Ltd. Awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Grand Cordon in 2013.
