200 Music and Dance Vocational School Students Learn SDGs Through "Experience" - Cleanup Activity at Hiyoriyama Coast + University Lecture Held

The International College of Music and Dance Entertainment, part of the NSG Group, implemented an "experiential SDGs class" with the participation of all students on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Approximately 200 students engaged in a cleanup activity at Hiyoriyama Coast in Niigata City, and on Saturday, May 2, they attended a lecture on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) by Professor Toshio Murayama from Niigata University. The cleanup activity was carried out in collaboration with "Nitto Seikou Co., Ltd." located in Kita Ward, Niigata City. Through these activities, students aim to learn and deepen their understanding of SDGs goals "11. Sustainable Cities and Communities," "12. Responsible Consumption and Production," and "14. Life Below Water" through practical experience. Students from all over Japan gather at this school, and for those who come from landlocked regions, it is a valuable opportunity to experience the beauty of the sea and the natural environment that needs to be protected. It also serves as a significant platform for interaction among students and fostering connections with the local community. The school will continue to undertake initiatives that contribute to the local community and the environment.
