NRI Secure Technologies Launches Assessment Service to Visualize Compliance with METI's "SCS Assessment System"

NRI Secure Technologies, Ltd. (NRI Secure) announced today the launch of its "Assessment for the Security Measures Assessment System for Strengthening the Supply Chain" (hereinafter, "this service"), which visualizes compliance status with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Security Measures Assessment System for Strengthening the Supply Chain" (hereinafter, "SCS Assessment System") on the security measures execution support platform "Secure SketCH".

About the SCS Assessment System and Compliance

The SCS Assessment System, scheduled for introduction by the end of fiscal year 2026, is a framework for evaluating and visualizing companies' security measure levels based on common criteria. It aims to reduce the response burden for both clients and contractors in evaluating and visualizing the status of measures, and to improve the overall security level of the supply chain. While compliance with the system is voluntary, clients may request it. Therefore, it is important for each company to understand its own measure status and identify any gaps with the requirements.

Overview and Features of This Service

This service allows companies to visualize their compliance status with the "★3" and "★4" levels defined by the SCS Assessment System by answering questions provided on Secure SketCH. The process, from account registration and answering questions to interviews, organizing countermeasures, and providing a final report, is conducted in stages and typically takes approximately 3 months (see Figure 1). NRI Secure's consultants, with their extensive experience and expertise, will accurately grasp the current compliance status and provide consistent support, including the proposal of highly feasible countermeasures.

The main features of this service are:

1. Consulting Support by Experts

Based on the answers, consultants will conduct interviews to confirm the validity of the information and scrutinize answers that are difficult to judge through self-checks alone. They will organize recommended countermeasures by priority and specific implementation methods from an expert perspective, present them in a report, and support companies in formulating their countermeasures.

2. Platform Aligned with SCS Assessment System Standards

By utilizing Secure SketCH as the foundation for this service, we achieve a rapid and low-burden understanding of the current situation. It enables centralized management of evidence, simultaneous editing by multiple users, and unified management of the visualization process for compliance with the SCS Assessment System's defined levels. Furthermore, during the Secure SketCH usage period, compliance status can be updated and re-evaluated according to progress, allowing for continuous tracking of improvement and strengthening of security measures.
