It has received high praise from architecture fans and was registered as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property in 2024.

The cherry blossoms in Northern Shinshu reach full bloom during a two-week period from late April to GW. The cherry tree at Rokkenshimizu, one of the famous spots in Nozawa Onsen Village, is no exception. During this time, while enjoying spring skiing on the slopes, the countdown to the end of the season begins, and it is attractive that you can have a special experience of witnessing the arrival of spring along with the blooming of the cherry blossoms. Since this cherry tree is located right in front of Nozawa Onsen Lodge, it can be viewed not only from the terrace but also from the free space.
