Notion Labs Japan LLC (Location: Tokyo, General Manager APAC: Katsukiyo Nishi) has launched the "Notion Campus Leader Program 2026" for university students. This program aims to select campus leaders who represent Notion at each university, supporting the effective use of Notion in university life and job hunting, as well as fostering community formation within and across universities.
Applications for campus leaders are accepted annually, and this year marks the recruitment for the third term of campus leaders in Japan. The application period has been moved forward to align with Japan's new academic year, running from April 13 to May 5.
Recruitment of users to support the initiation and maximization of Notion usage by university students. Notion, which can effectively manage lecture notes, assignments, on-campus projects, and job hunting activities, is increasingly used in universities. Students and educators are offered a free "Plus Plan" (details on eligibility for the student discount Plus Plan are available here). In recent years, with the evolution of Notion AI, its use has expanded to support learning, including summarizing lecture notes, organizing information, and assisting with report drafting.
The Notion Campus Leader Program seeks "Campus Leaders" from each university to support community operations, organize meetups, and share the latest information, thereby promoting the widespread use of Notion among university students.
Through this activity, campus leaders can gain experience in planning, operating, and disseminating projects, including events, and connect with members worldwide to broaden their perspectives. This experience is also expected to be valuable for their job hunting activities as a "gaku-chika" (student experience).
Updating the Campus Leader Experience. This year, the program has been updated to make it easier to start activities and deepen learning with peers.
Introduction of a group system for each university. Campus leaders from the same university will form a team to conduct onboarding and activities. Working towards the same goal in a team is expected to improve achievement rates and maintain motivation.
Planned career development support and marketing workshops. In addition to learning about Notion usage, programs useful for job hunting and after graduation, such as career development sessions and workshops, and opportunities to learn SNS marketing, are planned to be held every other month. In June, a joint project with Liv Consulting Co., Ltd. is scheduled to hold a corporate understanding and self-analysis workshop for job-seeking students.
