NOK Corporation (Headquarters: Shiba Daimon, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and Group CEO: Masao Tsuru; hereinafter "NOK") will exhibit at "Local Government & Public Week 2026," to be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) from Wednesday, May 13th to Friday, May 15th, 2026.

This marks NOK's third participation, with the theme "Shaping Possibilities with Technology." They will showcase seven products/series, including three new products making their debut: sound-absorbing panels for offices, Body Beat Sensor Toilet, and Step Marker. NOK will propose solutions utilizing its technology to address various challenges anticipated by local governments and public institutions, such as sound environments in public facilities, disaster preparedness, health and monitoring, and environmental considerations.

In addition to the three new products, the exhibited items include a wearable echo sensor, Post Original Design series, hydrogen sulfide detection rubber, pressurized large-capacity water purifier, and recycled rubber series. During the exhibition, NOK will gather feedback from visitors to explore potential applications and consider future improvements and developments for each product.

Moving forward, NOK will continue to attentively listen to feedback from the field, explore technology-driven solutions for challenges in the public sector, and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

Technology to Enhance Comfort in Working Environments and Public Spaces

### Sound-Absorbing Panels for Offices *Debut Product*

In meeting rooms and consultation spaces within government offices and public facilities, reverberating sounds can sometimes make voices difficult to hear. Furthermore, large-scale renovations are often difficult in existing facilities, creating a demand for sound environment improvement measures that can be installed without construction.

This product is a sound-absorbing panel that utilizes NOK's long-cultivated vibration and sound insulation technology. It suppresses sound reverberation within a room through materials that easily absorb sound and a structure that receives and weakens sound energy.

Being lightweight and attachable with magnets, it can be installed on steel partitions or walls without drilling holes. Its easy installation and removal make it adaptable to layout changes and restoration to original condition upon relocation. Future plans include adding color variations.

Technology for Monitoring Physical and Mental Conditions and Contributing to Health

### Body Beat Sensor Toilet *Debut Product*

Amidst the progression of an aging society and labor shortages in medical and nursing care settings, there is growing interest in mechanisms that allow for effortless health status monitoring in daily life. The Body Beat Sensor Toilet is a healthcare monitor from Wintest Co., Ltd., equipped with NOK's developed sheet-type rubber electrode "Sotto fabric+" (Sotto Fabric Plus). By sitting on the toilet, it automatically measures vital data such as heart rate, supporting the understanding of one's health status, thus utilizing NOK's sensing technology.

"Sotto fabric+" is a highly flexible electrode combining hydrogenated nitrile conductive rubber and conductive PET fiber cloth. By sitting on this electrode, it measures heart rate and blood pressure fluctuations, and is equipped with a function to notify a smartphone with an alert if an abnormal condition is detected.

It is expected to help alleviate labor shortages in medical and nursing care settings and assist in managing the health of the elderly through privacy-conscious sensing that does not increase the burden of daily life and does not use cameras.

### Wearable Echo Sensor

This product was developed against the backdrop of increasing demand for daily visualization of bodily conditions in fields such as health management, rehabilitation, and sports training. It is a device that can acquire real-time, high-definition echo images by attaching a thin, light, and flexible ultrasonic sensor to the human body. This sensor achieves both high wearability and measurement accuracy by combining NOK's conductive rubber and flexible printed circuit board technology with Salmontech's ultrasonic sensing technology, a joint research partner. Because it naturally conforms to the curves of the body, it causes little burden even during long periods of wear, aiming to expand ultrasonic measurement, traditionally limited to medical institutions, into daily life. At this exhibition, a measurement demonstration will be conducted where the sensor is actually worn on the body to acquire echo images.

Technology to Protect Regional Safety

### Post Original Design *Step Marker is a Debut Product*

These are NOK's highly durable rubber poles (delineators/lane separators) used on general roads and highways. In recent years, while traffic safety measures have been strengthened in school zones and tourist areas, challenges remain in maintaining urban landscapes and improving the efficiency of road infrastructure management, leading to increased demand for durable products that blend with the scenery.

This product is more resistant to bending and stress compared to general materials.
