noco Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Ken Horibe) is pleased to announce the launch of a restricted sharing feature using SAML authentication in the AI support system 'Helpdog' (https://helpdog.ai).

Security Challenges in Internal Knowledge Sharing
When companies share internal FAQ sites or business manuals, it is common to use multiple systems. However, issuing separate IDs and passwords for each system increases the burden of memorization for users. As a result, the risk of password reuse and loss increases.
Also, for system administrators, the task of adding and deleting accounts every time an employee joins, leaves, or changes departments is a major burden. In the unlikely event that an account is left undeleted, it directly leads to the risk of unauthorized access to internal information by a retired employee. To securely share internal knowledge, it is essential to unify the authentication mechanism.

Providing Secure Access with a Single Login
To solve these challenges, we have implemented a new authentication feature that can link with Identity Providers (IdP) compliant with the SAML 2.0 standard. This allows employees to view restricted pages with a single login operation (Single Sign-On) using their usual internal accounts.
By linking with authentication infrastructures such as Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Google Workspace, whose operation has been confirmed, the steps to reach information are significantly shortened.
Furthermore, administrators can centrally manage user information on the master system, saving the trouble of operating accounts individually. The access rights of retired employees can also be automatically blocked simply by suspending them in the internal authentication infrastructure.

Flexible Security Measures Tailored to Corporate Requirements
In addition to the already provided 'Email Address Authentication' and 'JWT (JSON Web Token) Authentication', we have now started providing 'SAML Authentication'. You can choose the optimal method according to your company's system environment and security standards to build a secure support environment both inside and outside the company.
The knowledge accumulated within a company demonstrates its true value only when there is an environment where it can be securely and seamlessly retrieved. AI support system 'Helpdog'...
