Camp Co., Ltd. However, due to individual differences in bust position and body shape, fixed pads sometimes made it difficult to achieve more precise fit adjustments.
To address these challenges, the new product features the newly developed 'adjustable pad' structure, which allows the pad's position to be adjusted. This enables wearers to move the pads according to their own bust position, achieving a more natural silhouette.
Furthermore, with summer heat in mind, emphasis was placed on lightness and breathability. By designing a compact chest pad, a lighter and cooler wearing experience is achieved. It blends well with thin materials and creates a beautiful line. These specifications are designed to enhance fit, comfort, and ease of wear during summer.
This structure is patent-pending and will be progressively adopted in products launching from April 3rd as a new braless structure aiming for a more natural wearing comfort.
no-bu is a brand that proposes 'braless wear' as a new clothing option, allowing women to go out without wearing underwear, based on the concept of 'clothing that wears comfort.' Without using elastic or wires, its unique special sewing prevents sheerness around the bust, balancing relaxation with a neat appearance suitable for going out. By creating it as 'clothing' rather than 'underwear,' no-bu aims for a daily life where braless is a natural choice. Since its Makuake launch in July 2024, the total support purchase amount across three campaigns has reached 25.96 million yen, marking a huge success.

Since its launch, while supported by many customers saying 'I've been waiting for a product like this' and repeat purchases, we also received feedback through surveys and individual online hearings such as 'it didn't fit my body type' or 'the bust coverage wasn't wide enough.' Leveraging customer feedback, after a year of development, the new 'no-bu original structure new chest pad (adjustable pad)' has been completed (patent pending).
The newly developed no-bu original chest pad, the 'adjustable pad,' is a braless structure that allows the pad's position to be adjusted according to the bust position. Unlike conventional fixed pads, it can create a natural fit tailored to the wearer's bust position.
This structure is currently patent-pending. It is designed to make braless wear more natural and lighter to wear.
The pads are egg-shaped, 15 cm long and 14 cm wide. They are designed to be thicker in the center and gradually thinner towards the outside, making them conform easily to the shape of the bust.
Furthermore, compared to conventional integrated pads (approx. 30g), a weight reduction of approximately 24% (to approx. 23g) has been achieved. This lightness makes you forget you're wearing it, especially reducing stress during summer.

Features of the 'Adjustable Pad'
The pad itself uses a cushioning urethane material, designed to naturally fit the curves of the bust. The soft Velcro is a soft, skin-friendly material, allowing for smooth attachment and detachment. Unlike typical Velcro, there is no stiffness or ripping sound during attachment/detachment.
We also conducted washing tests and confirmed that stable attachment/detachment and holding power are maintained even after repeated use and washing. We aimed to achieve both the ease of simple attachment/detachment and the security of firm fixation.
The basic anti-sheer performance is largely unchanged from conventional fixed pads. Using similar technology as fixed pads, the urethane pad itself has a direct embossed texture. This design helps prevent the bust-up from showing through even thin clothing. This technology is currently patent-pending.
The vertical adjustment range is 19 cm (with a tape width of 4 cm, allowing for fine horizontal adjustments), designed to cover a wide range of sizes. You can adjust it to the optimal position according to your body type and bust position. It is less likely to shift significantly when moving, providing a stable wearing sensation.
The new 'adjustable pad' chest pad is a braless design that allows you to wear it with confidence even without a bra.

“In developing braless wear, the most challenging aspect was 'individual differences in bust position.' While previous braless wear offered the convenience of simply putting it on, it had the challenge of not being able to fully accommodate individual differences in bust position. In fact, there were voices saying 'it doesn't quite fit,' and the idea of how to resolve that discomfort was the trigger for development.
